Four Seasons Marbella – Latest Update
A significant milestone has recently been reached. Marbella City Council has approved a key urbanisation project for the future Four Seasons Marbella Resort & Residences, located in El Pinar, Río Real. This approval represents a major step forward in a planning process that has been ongoing for many years and brings the project closer to execution. The urbanisation plans cover approximately 35 hectares and include extensive infrastructure works, new road systems, public facilities and improved access routes, all designed to support a world-class luxury resort environment.
A Global Brand Expands Its Presence in Spain
Founded in 1960, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts operates more than 120 hotels and resorts across 47 countries and is widely regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel brands. Spain has been selected for two new Four Seasons destinations — Madrid and Marbella, underlining the country’s growing strategic importance in the global luxury hospitality sector.
One of Andalucía’s Most Ambitious Luxury Developments
The Four Seasons Marbella project represents a total investment of close to €700 million, positioning it among the largest and most exclusive hospitality and branded residential developments ever undertaken in Andalucía.
Location & Development Partners
The resort will be developed on a fully zoned site of approximately 320,000 m², located just east of Marbella’s city centre and west of the Torre Real area. The plot benefits from existing roads and utilities and extends across both sides of the main access road.
The development is led by an international consortium consisting of:

Luxury Hotel & Four Seasons Branded Residences
The hotel will feature approximately 80 rooms and 40 suites, offering a total of 120 keys, all delivered to Four Seasons’ exacting standards.
In addition, the project will include Four Seasons Branded Residences in Marbella, comprising:
136 private residences and 30 hotel residences.
